How It Works: Custom Printing Your Advent Calendar

You'd like to have a corporate advent calendar custom printed but don't have finished print files? No problem. At Logokalender.de we handle the entire process — from the initial enquiry to delivery.

Step by Step to Your Finished Calendar

1

Send Your Enquiry

Share your logo, quantity and desired delivery date — via our form in under 2 minutes. Finished print files are not required.

2

Receive a Calendar Recommendation

Based on your target audience, budget and quantity, we recommend the right calendar. We know the strengths of every model and advise honestly.

3

Free 3D Design Preview

Our design team creates a photo-realistic visualisation of your calendar in your corporate design — free and non-binding.

4

Approval & Production

After your approval, the calendar goes into production. Digital printing, full-coverage designs, all colours. Setup costs are included in the unit price.

5

Delivery to Your Address

Securely packaged and delivered on time — also available as split delivery to multiple locations upon request. Standard delivery time: 3–4 weeks.

No Print Files Required

Unlike traditional print shops, you don't need print-ready PDF files with us. A logo as PNG, SVG or PDF is entirely sufficient. Our design team handles the preparation and creates a free 3D visualisation in advance, so you can see exactly what your calendar will look like before a single piece is produced. This is one of the main reasons why a specialist provider is better suited than a generic print shop.

Typical Timeline

We recommend starting with your enquiry by early October at the latest to ensure delivery by 1 December. For express requirements, please get in touch early. The exact delivery time depends on the chosen model — full details on pricing including express surcharges can be found in our price overview.

What Really Slows Down the Process in Companies

After years of working with marketing teams, procurement departments and assistants, we know: production is rarely the problem. Time is lost in internal coordination. Here are the most common sources of delay and how to defuse them in advance:

Brand approval by the marketing department

Many companies have CI guidelines that dictate which fonts, colours and logo versions may be used. Those who only realise after the design preview that internal approval is missing lose 3–5 business days.

Clarify before your enquiry: Who is authorised to give final design approval? Do you have the current logo files in CI-compliant format (ideally a vector file)?

Invoice address and cost centre unclear

Especially in larger companies, order confirmation is delayed because the cost centre, invoice address or budget approval is not yet available.

Clarify internally when making your enquiry: Which cost centre covers the order, and who signs off on the invoice?

Delivery addresses provided late

For split deliveries to multiple locations, complete addresses or contact persons per branch are often missing. This blocks production planning.

Prepare a simple table in advance with: location, street, postcode, city, contact person, desired quantity. We are happy to deliver to 20+ addresses.

Design preview must circulate internally

When the 3D design preview needs to be forwarded for approval to multiple decision-makers (management, marketing, procurement), feedback loops arise that can derail the timeline.

Designate a single person authorised to approve and send the preview directly to them. Upon request, we also create a second variant if there are alternative suggestions.

Questions to Clarify Before Your Enquiry

The more complete your information at first contact, the faster everything runs. This checklist has been distilled from thousands of orders:

  • 1

What quantity do you need and for whom exactly?

Employees? Customers? Both? This determines the model choice and whether split delivery makes sense.

  • 2

Do you have the current company logo in a suitable format?

PNG at 300 dpi or above, SVG or AI file are ideal. A JPEG from the website often doesn't produce satisfactory results.

  • 3

When should the calendars arrive at the latest?

Count backwards: for a delivery date of 28 November → order approval by early October at the latest.

  • 4

Is there a greeting message, campaign motto or slogan?

Short texts on the front or back must be legally reviewed — no problem, we flag critical points.

  • 5

Who is the authorised approver internally?

This saves a feedback loop. We send the design preview directly to the right person.
